Privacy notice
This website is run by Ring Decorators Ltd (company no. 17085755, VAT Reg. No. GB 530 5813 12), 40 The Belfry, Hailsham, BN27 3UG. It only collects what you choose to send through its two forms, and that is only used to reply to you.
The quote form
When you ask for a quote, the form collects:
- your name, phone number and the address of the job, and your email address if you add it
- the type of job, when you hope to start, whether the property is occupied and any rough sizes
- your description of the job and any photos you add
These are emailed to us and kept in the website’s private admin area so we can reply and prepare a quote. Your photos are stored privately and can only be opened by us, signed in to the website’s admin area.
The review form
A review collects your name and town, a star rating, what we did, your review and an email address or phone number. We read every review first. Once we approve it, your name and town, rating, review and what we did are shown on this website. Your email or phone number is never published: we only use it to check the review is genuine.
How your details are used
- Only to reply to your enquiry or review, and to quote for and carry out your job.
- Never sold, never shared for marketing, and you won’t be added to a mailing list.
- Kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry or job, then deleted.
Where it’s kept
The website and its forms are hosted by Netlify, which keeps your details for us and emails each quote request and review to us. Netlify processes them only so the site can work. A copy of the website’s content, including enquiries, is kept in a private backup so nothing is lost if something goes wrong. To block spam, the forms also keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your internet address for about an hour.
This website doesn’t use tracking or advertising cookies. The only cookie is the one that keeps us signed in to the admin area.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete anything you’ve sent, or have a review taken down, at any time: call 07850 462682 or email ringdecsltd@outlook.com.
