Before filming on an iPhone: Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible. Otherwise the video won’t play on some Android phones and Windows PCs. Keep clips under 20 seconds.
Videos cost more to run than photos. Each time someone watches it, the whole video downloads, which uses your Netlify allowance. A short clip under 8 MB keeps that low.

Reviews

Reviews customers send through the website wait here until you approve them. When you approve one it goes on your website straight away.

Opens WhatsApp with a short message and your Google review link. Pick the customer and press send.

Every quote request from the website, with the customer’s photos. You also get a copy by email. Move each one along as it goes: New, Quoted, then Won or Lost.

When these are filled in, “Find us on Google” and “Leave us a Google review” buttons appear on your Reviews page and at the bottom of every page. Leave them empty to hide the buttons.

Search Google for “Ring Decorators Ltd” on your phone, tap your business, then Share and copy the link.
In Google Business Profile (business.google.com), tap Ask for reviews (or Get more reviews) and copy the link it shows.

Saved versions

A copy is kept every time you publish. If something goes wrong, put an older version back, then press Publish.

    Once a week (Sunday night) everything is also copied to your GitHub: your words, photos, video, reviews, enquiries and these saved versions. So even if Netlify lost everything, your whole website could be put back.
